The team says all auditions must be submitted as video. Audio files, tapes and CDs will not be accepted. Performances are not to exceed two minutes and all vocal auditions must be performed a cappella.

In the second game of his rehab stint with the South Bend Cubs, Chicago Cubs second baseman Ben Zobrist looked comfortable both in the field and at the plate. After Zobrist took four at-bats last night as the DH, he played second base tonight for his first infield playing time since May.
In his return to game action, Zobrist took three at-bats from the left side and one from the right. His lone right-handed at-bat was a laser towards the left field wall. Unfortunately, with no help from the wind, the ball died down enough for Daniel Reyes to make the catch.

After dropping the previous two games of the homestand, the South Bend Cubs rallied back on Wednesday night to finish the five game homestand with a 3-2 record. Tonight, the Cubs defeated West Michigan 4-2 with a rally in the bottom of the 8th inning on key hits from Brennen Davis and Chris Morel.
Little allowed just three hits, but they were costly. West Michigan tied the game in the top of the 3rd on a walk and a single combined with an RBI groundout and sac fly. From that point, it was all Whitecaps. They managed one more run on Little on an RBI single in the 5th. The Cubs starter departed after five innings and three strikeouts.
For the sixth straight day, the opposing team scored first against the South Bend Cubs. For the past three, South Bend produced comeback wins. But on Monday night in the series finale against the Dayton Dragons, their rally attempts were cut short and the Dragons finished the series off with a 6-2 win.
In game three, Cubs starter Faustino Carrera hoped to become the first South Bend pitcher to reach five wins this season. Despite giving up just two runs in five innings, Carrera took the loss as the Cubs could not take him off the hook.
