It’s chilly out there this morning with temperatures across Michiana in the low 20s to high teens. The good news is the winds are calm and we’re looking forward to an entire weekend of sunshine! Today’s high will be around 45° with not a lot else to report - thank goodness.

With clear skies overnight, we’ll see another cold start tomorrow morning with temperatures in the 20s again. We warm up to near 50 in the afternoon under bright, sunny skies and SW winds at 5 to 10 mph. After a “Super” weekend, we have our eyes on two approaching storm systems. The first one moves in late Tuesday and lingers into Wednesday morning. This will bring hit-and-miss showers across Michiana as a warm front moves through. Behind this first system, temperatures will soar to about 60 degrees Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Our second system then arrives Thursday with rain and wind gusts to 40+ mph. As the storm center pulls away from Michiana, cold air invades for one day. Highs on Friday will stay right around freezing with a chance of light snow flurries. But by President’s Day Weekend, we warm right back into the mid-40s for afternoon highs.

Hope your team wins the Big Game tomorrow... or at least the commercials and halftime show are entertaining!
