SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - A local business is launching “Food Truck Philanthropy” this summer.

Barnes and Thornburg is partnering with local food trucks to provide food with a portion of sales going to local non-profits.

Today they hosted Rico Suave’s Taco Truck with proceeds going to La Casa de Amistad.

“After the pandemic I know so many of our non-profits are struggling, and now that things are opening back up we want to use our location to do some good and to kind of help jump start some of what our non-profits have missed out on,” says Amy Kintz, marketing services manager.

The next food truck will be real grille with proceeds going to REAL Services.

That is going on June 24.
